The View from the Top

The mouth of Vierra Canyon points southwest toward Moss Landing and the Monterey Bay. This is the view from the northeast corner of the canyon, looking southwest, at about 500 feet mean sea level altitude, about 400 feet altitude above and 2.5 miles distant from the very beginning of the Canyon. This was taken on December 31, 2011, at about 4:30 PM.
